Just click download now and install and once you’ve done that right click the stuff to convert mkv to avi file and go down to extract to stuff to conver mkv to avi file and everything will be in that folder. Then just follow my video to convert it. Hope this helps everyone. 
Instructions
1. Install Avisynth, Virtualdub, the xvid codec and my movie.avs file.
2. Move my movie.avs into same folder as mkv video file.
3. Open it with notepad and change “mymovie.mkv” to the name of the movie file. Ex. “yourmovie.mkv”
4. Open VirtualDub.
5. Drag mymovie.avs file into VirtualDub.
6.Begining of video should be on screen.
7. Go to video, Compression.
8. Choosing Xvid: 1) Select Xvid (If not there re-install and restart VirtualDub). 2) Press configure. 3) Make sure the Target Quantizer is 4.00. 4) Press ok.
9. Check Audio, Full Processing mode.
10. Go to Audio, Compression.
11. Select MPEG Layer-3 and 56kbit/s as the bit rate.
12. Go to File, Save as AVI.
13. Takes time.
14. Close VirtualDub.
